POLYPHONIC: Orchestra musicians have a new resource to connect with their peers and industry leaders throughout their professional lives, thanks to a new Web site launched by the Institute for Music Leadership at the Eastman School. is the first of its kind to bring together career orchestra musicians, educators, business insiders, and music critics. It’s also the first of its kind to go directly to the source by sponsoring research on 1,400 musicians in 90 orchestras across the United States to further understand their needs, problems, and challenges.
