Kathleen Cellura W (MA) has published a novel, Forever Footprints (self-published). “The Rochester area and the U of R are penned throughout,” she writes. “It brings back fond scenes of the Greater Rochester area, the Canandaigua Lake region, the Finger Lakes, and the teachings of Meliora put into action.”

Paul Lind (MA), vice chairman of Rogers Communications, has been named to the American Cable Hall of Fame.

John Aldrich (PhD), the Pfizer-Pratt University Professor of Political Science at Duke, has published Why Parties? A Second Look (University of Chicago Press), an update to his 1995 book Why Parties? (Chicago). . . . Kevin Feeney S (MBA) (see ’74 undergraduate). . . . Joseph Stulberg (PhD) has been named the Michael E. Moritz Chair in Alternative Dispute Resolution at Ohio State’s law school. Prior to joining the Ohio State faculty in 1998, Joseph was the founder of the dispute resolution program at the University of Missouri–Columbia law school. He was also one of 20 scholars from around the world awarded a 2012 Ikerbasque Faculty logo fellowship, a fellowship funded jointly by the Basque Foundation for Science and the European Union and designed for scholars conducting research in the Basque region. Joseph will be at the University of Deusto Law School working on a project entitled “Mediation Theory and Institutional Design: The Role of Cultural Values in Shaping Policy and Practice.”

Joyce Morley W (EdD) has been elected to a three-year term on the board of trustees of the National Board of Certified Counselors Foundation. Joyce is the CEO of the Decatur, Ga., firm of Morley and Associates, which offers coaching, therapy, and related services.

Basak Oztan (PhD) writes that he and Jennifer LaMay ’07N, ’11N (MS) are engaged to be married in February in Palm Springs, Calif. The two became engaged on Christmas Eve 2011 in New York City. . . . Jeremy Saucier (PhD) has been named assistant director of the International Center for the History of Electronic Games at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester.
