Enrollment Verification

Students can request verification or confirmation of their enrollment status with the University through several ways, please see below for more information.

  1. Through a partnership with the National Student Clearinghouse, the University of Rochester provides . This option is readily available to students any time of day or night.

Please note: If you attended before 1986 or do not have a NetID, please print this request form and email, mail or fax it to the Office of the University Registrar.

Processing Time

Production time for mailed or faxed enrollment verifications is three to five business days once the request is received. There is no cost for enrollment verifications.

Please note that enrollment can only be verified for the actual term in which a student is registered. Verification of future enrollment or class registration cannot be issued until the registration occurs in the student information system and the National Student Clearinghouse is notified of the student registration.

Third Party Requests

The University of Rochester utilizes the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) for all . All requests must be submitted directly to NSC. Any questions/clarification requests should also be sent back to the National Student Clearinghouse.
